Abstract

Kelapa sawit (Elaeis guineensis) termasuk dalam familia Arecaceae dan merupakan tanaman perkebunan/industri yang sangat penting. Salah satu hama penyakit penting adalah kumbang Oryctes rhinoceros. Kerusakan akibat serangan kumbang tanduk dapat mematikan tanaman kelapa sawit terutama pada tanaman belum menghasilkan (PBM) salah satu cara untuk pengendalian kumbang oryctes dengan mengguanakan bioinsektisida yang bahan aktif Bacillus thuringiensis. Penggunaan bahan bahan limbah pertanian seperti air cucian beras lct ,ad , akt, dan diperkaya dg molase, diharapkan dapat menungkatkan toksisitas Bt terhadap kumbang oryctes. Tujuan penelitian adalah mempelajari toksisitas bioinsektisida berbahan aktif b. thurin pada limbah pertanian terhadap kimbang oryctes .rancangan penelitian adalah rancangan acak lengkap yaitu 5 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan , parameter pengamtan adalah kerapatan spora, mortalitas larva uji, berat larva, gejala infeksi dan morfologi larva sehat, hasil penelitian menunjukan keraptan spora tertinggi pada perlakuan limbag cair tahu yaitu rerata 11,20 x 106 spora/ml dan rata-rata terendah terdapat pada perlakuan air kelapa tua yaitu sebesar 10,78 x 106 spora/ml. Mortalitas tertinggi setelah 21 hari sebesar 9 diperoleh pada perlakuan dg menggunakan limbah cair tahu, penurunan berat badan larva oryctes paling rendah adalah air kelapa tua. Gejala yang ditimbulkan larva yang terkena infeksi yaitu warna kulitnya pucat, tidak aktif bergerak, agak keriput dan sedikit lunak. Sedangkan larva yang sudah mati gejalanya warna hitam kecoklatan, kulitnya keriput, berbau, berlendir, dan badan nya kempis. Sedangkan larva yang sehat mempunyai ciri-ciri kulit berwarna putih mengkilat,aktif bergerak dan tumbuh bulu di kulit larva yang berwarna kecoklatan. Oil palm (Elaeis guineensis) belongs to the Arecaceae family and it is very important plantation / industrial crop. One of the most important pests is Orysctes rhinoceros. Damage caused by Orysctes rhinoceros can kill oil palm plants, especially immature plants (PBM). One way to control Oryctes rhinocheros is by using a bio-insecticide with the active ingredient of Bacillus thuringiensis. The use of agricultural waste materials such as washing water of lct, ad, active rice, and enriched with molasses, is expected to increase the toxicity of Bt to Oryctes rhinoceros. The research aims to study the toxicity of bio-insecticide with active ingredients Bacillus thuringiensis enriched by agricultural waste to Orysctes rhinoceros. This research use Completely Randomized Design which consist of 5 treatments and 5 replications. The parameters of treatment were spore density, mortality of larvae, larvae weight, infection symptoms and healthy larvae morphology. The results showed that the highest spore susceptibility in waste liquid tofu treatment was 11.20 x 106 spores / ml and the lowest found in the old coconut water treatment was 10.78 x 106 spores / ml. The highest mortality after 21 days was 9 which was obtained in tofu liquid waste treatment. The lowest weight loss of Oryctes larvae was found in old coconut water treatment. Symptoms caused by the infected larvae are pale skin color, inactive, slightly wrinkled and little soft. While the symptoms of dead larvae are brownish black, wrinkled skin, smelly, slimy, and flat body. Meanwhile, healthy larvae have the characteristics consist of shiny white skin, actively move, and grow hair on the brownish skin of the larvae.
