Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the mining sector GRDP, General Allocation Fund, and Profit Sharing Funds on the economic growth of eight Natural Resource-producing Districts in South Sumatra Province. The data used in this study is secondary data sourced from the Ministry of Finance and the Central Statistics Agency for the period 2012-2019. The analysis technique used is the panel data regression method using the Common Effect Model and Autoregressive test. The results show that the GRDP of the mining sector has a positive and significant effect on regency economic growth in South Sumatra Province. The results show that the General Allocation Fund has a positive but insignificant effect on the economic growth of eight districts in South Sumatra Province. The results show that the Revenue Sharing Fund has a negative and insignificant effect on the economic growth of the eight districts in South Sumatra Province.
