Abstract

The study examines the Economic and Social Conditions of the Community and How the Impact of Village Funds on Village Development in Tanjung Seteko Village, Indralaya District, Ogan Ilir Regency during the 2017-2019 period. The analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative. The results showed (1) the economic and social conditions in Tanjung Seteko Village before the existence of village funds were less good and left behind compared to other villages. Many people are poor and have middle to lower social status, because many people are unemployed and can only afford to go to junior high school or high school. But after the existence of village funds, the economic and social conditions in Tanjung Seteko Village experienced changes and increased development, the impact of the village funds resulted in increased development, especially infrastructure such as roads, bridges, irrigation, village government facilities, and village hall construction (2) Distribution of allocation use Village funds for physical development have decreased. The use of village funds is currently being used for community empowerment. As for the financing budget and village fund allocations, there is relatively no change. (3) The existence of village funds has a positive impact on the social, economic and cultural dimensions, it can be seen from the IDM value which has changed every year as well as an increase in the classification of villages that were previously very backward and are now developing villages
