Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul Analisis Pusat Pertumbuhan Wilayah di Kecamatan Kalidoni Kota Palembang Propinsi Sumatera Selatan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kelurahan mana yang memiliki kategori sebagai pusat pertumbuhan serta desa/ kelurahan yang menjadi daerah hinterland-nya dan mencari sektor basis dan non basis perekonomian yang ada di Kecamatan Kalidoni. Dengan memakai tiga tahapan alat analisis yaitu dengan analisis Scalogram digunakan untuk melihat banyaknya nilai-nilai fasilitas perkotaan (Ekonomi, Sosial dan Pemerintahan) yang ada di wilayah Kecamatan Kalidoni, kemudian menggunakan tahapan analisis interaksi/ gravitasi. Rumus ini memakai variabel jarak antar kelurahan yang ada di Kecamatan Kalidoni untuk menentukan daerah pendukung atau hinterland dari pusat pertumbuhan utama. Kemudian ditentukan sektor-sektor basis/ unggulan dengan alat analisis Location Quotient (LQ) yang ada di Kecamatan Kalidoni. Potensi yang ada pada Kecamatan Kalidoni diperoleh bahwa terdapat tiga sektor yang merupakan sektor basis yaitu sektor Pertanian, Industri Pengolahan serta sektor Listrik, Gas, dan Air Bersih. Sektor Industri Pengolahan merupakan sektor yang paling dominan. Kata Kunci: Pusat Pertumbuhan, Hinterland, Scalogram, Gravitasi, Location Quotient (LQ)
