Abstract

In recent years the implementation of development in Indonesia has been developing rapidly. The need for split also increased. The existence of andesite in North Lampung should be managed optimally in order to produce good quality concrete raw materials that meet the size of the Indonesian national standard. This study aims to determine the processing of andesite stone as well as to analyze the productivity of the crushing plant, to analyze the quality of the processing results, and to design a processing workflow to produce products in accordance with Indonesian national standards. The research was conducted by observing processing activities and calculating the productivity of the crushing plant unit, a sieve test was also carried out to get the modulus of fineness, and designs andesite stone processing. From the research showed that productivity of the crushing plant unit is 111.341 m³/hour. Based on the sieve analysis test, the value of the fineness modulus for stone products 1-1 was 6.45 and stone products 1-2 were 7.09 which fulfill Indonesian national standards, and stone products 2-3 were 7.49 and which did not fulfill the standard Indonesian national. To improve the results of 2-3 stone products it is necessary to design closed sided setting on cone crusher in to 32 mm and change the size of the first deck on the vibrating screen. From the deck replacement results, the value of the fineness modulus for stone products 2-3 was 7.09 and fulfill Indonesian national standards.
