Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Bank Indonesia Wadiah Certificates (SWBI) toward Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) of Islamic Banking in Indonesia using monthly time series data from January 2008 until December 2010. The results showed that Bank Indonesia Wadiah Certificates (SWBI) has a negative relationship to the Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR), and not statistically significant effect on the Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) of Islamic banking. Bank Indonesia Wadiah Certificates (SWBI) can affect the Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) of Islamic banking in order to explain the relationship and the remaining 80% described other variables that are not included in the model.
