Abstract

Along with the advancement of technology certainly requires resources that will help in the process of electricity, but not everyone gets those resources, especially remote areas. Decision support system can help a company in making decisions. There are two methods of decision support system related to this problem, namely SAW and TOPSIS. This study provides a comparative analysis of SAW and TOPSIS methods to the priority of electricity installation in remote areas. In the calculation with the SAW method uses criteria that are cost and benefit to determine the normalized matrix so that it can do warkingan while TOPSIS uses distance with ideal positive and negative to the criteria that will determine the normalized matrix and warkingan. SAW and TOPSIS both produce a partnership that will be a reference to the company in determining decisions. In the test against the original data saw method obtained the result of accuracy value of 75% while TOPSIS got the result of accuracy value of 25%, it was concluded that saw method has higher accuracy than TOPSIS method.
