Abstract

The objective of this study is to assess the extent to which the result of the conversion of agricultural land function, especially rice farming became a fishpond in the income and Standard of living of the fish farmers and rice farmers. The data used are secondary and primary data, primary data is data ffom the rice farmers and fish farmers who convert the wet rice field became a fishpond area. The analysis of the study using the approach of the factors that affect the efficiency of production and the implications of added value and simple regression. Data processing using Excel 2007 program. Farmers’ income is calculated from the bruto added value to the income of fish farmers Rp. 123,810,500., Per harvest, added value bruto of pure Rp.65.747.7000., Per harvest, and revenues bruto of added value fishpond area < of rice fields vast of Rp. 63,223,000., Per harvest The Standard of living of the average farmer in each stratum of agricultural land then the biggest Standard of living of the farmers in pure fish farmers Rp. 3,063,250. by kk / season, the smallest in the Standard of living of pure rice farmers Rp. 1,124,813., Per kk / season. While the pondfish vast farmers < of rice fields vast are in the second position Rp. 1,139,485. by kk / season. The average of the efficiency among respondents was 0.7% it means that the level of efficiency on pure rice farmers, fishponds vast < of rice fields vast and fishponds inefficient because < 1. The highest level of the efficiency in the fishpond vast farmers < of rice fields vast of 1.75% because > 1, while the smallest of the efficiency level of fishpond farmers 0,44% because < 1.
