Abstract

This study was aimed at examining the effects of inflation, exchange rate, Bank of Indonesia rate and price eaming ratio on the LQ-45 stock price of mining companies in Indonesian stock exchange in the period from 2009-2011. The data used in this study were the monthly time series data from January 2009 to December 2011. The qualitative analysis and multiple linear regression were applied to analyze the data. The results of the partial hypothesis testing (t-test) showed that the inflation, exchange rate, Bank of Indonesia rate and price eaming ratio had signiflcant negative effects on the LQ-45 stock price. Based on simultaneous tests (F test), it was found that the independent variables ( inflation, exchange rate, Bank of Indonesia rate and price eaming ratio) had a signiflcant effect on the dependent variable (stock price).
