Abstract

The purpose of the research is to make a garden design recommendation of development as green space in the garden image design at research department office PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja (Persero) Palembang as an office garden. The research was conducted from February 2017 until October 2017 in nursery area owned by PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja in Jalan Mayor Zen, Lorong Abadi, Sei Selincah, Kalidoni, Palembang. The research is through preparation, analysis, concept synthesis, designing and planning, consultation with the users, and final design according to standard design process. The result of the research is design image of office garden as design product that shows its identity as research office and nursery which has functional, aesthetic and environmentally sound. The designed area is divided into 3 zones with the following functions, Zone A as the Main Gate area (Entrance), Zone B as the Management Office area, and Zone C as the Laboratory of Research and Employees house.
