Abstract

ABSTRACT This study purposed to describe the stimulation of speak development of (2-3) years old children during the pandemic of Covid 19 in 09 neighborhood Sako Banyuasin. This research uses qualitative descriptive research. The data collection techniques used were interviews, unstructured observation and documentation about the stimulation of speak development of (2-3) years old children. The analysis of data used is Miles and Huberman qualitative data analysis, that is includes collecting initial data in the form of interview transcripts, field notes and documentation and then analyzing, reading the entire data, coding, describing the data in a short narrative, constructing data based on the theme and interpreting the theme. arranged so that a conclusion can be drawn that describes the results of the study. This study used four research subjects that is parents who have children aged (2-3) years in 09 neighborhood Sako Banyuasin Village. The results of this study indicate that 1) Stimulation of speak development of children aged (2-3) years from parents during the Covid 19 pandemic, are playing dolls, playing toy cars, watching YouTube, through pictures and singing activities. 2) Stimulation of the speak development of children aged (2-3) years in the surrounding environment during the Covid 19 pandemic, are playing with family, through plants in the yard and on the streets. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the stimulation that children get during the COVID-19 pandemic comes from the stimulation given by parents and stimulation from the environment around the child.
