Abstract

The objectives of this research are: (1) Knowing the rubber trading model formed in Lubuk Tunggal Village, Rambang Kuang District, Ogan Ilir Regency, (2) Knowing the marketing margin and farmer share of rubber trading in Lubuk Tunggal Village, Rambang Kuang District, Ogan Ilir Regency, and (3) Knowing the efficiency of rubber trading in Lubuk Tunggal Village, Rambang Kuang District, Ogan Ilir Regency. This research was conducted in Lubuk Tunggal Village in December 2020 with 35 sample farmers. The method used in this research is a survey method. Themethod used is the sampling simple random ormethod with the provisions of the Rule of Thumb. Quantitative data analysis was carried out by using tabulation method which was processed using excel program. Qualitative data is presented in descriptive form to support quantitative data. There are two trading systems in Lubuk Tunggal Village. The results showed that the first trading model was the marketing of rubber from farmers to collectors and then to factories. Meanwhile, the second trading system is where farmers sell rubber to retailers first, then to collectors then to factories. The largest marketing margin was shown by the trader collecting III, amounting to Rp3.400/kg. The average marketing margin for all intermediate traders was Rp3.333/kg. The marketing margin for retailers is Rp1.900/kg. The average share received by farmers is 64,67 percent. The share that was received by the largest farmer was in the trading system model 1, amounting to 70,85 percent. The most efficient institution is trader collecting I with an efficiency level of 9,60 percent. Every model of the trading system in Lubuk Tunggal Village is efficient. The most efficient trading model is the I system model.
