Abstract

The objective of this study is to reveal the financial capability of Palembang municipality in supporting the self-sufficiency of the city during the period from 2002 up to 2012. The study uses the secondary data optained ffom the Central statistic agency of Palembang (BPS). The technique of analysis used inthis study is descriptive qualytative and quantitative descriptive. The result of this study indicates that the financial capability of Palembang is adequate to suppoort the self-sufficiency of Palembang in financing the devolopment of the city of Palembang. This condition is supported by the regional origional revenue of Palembang which is relatively good.
