Abstract

By utilizing movements and designs as needed, robots can easily help human works. In the industrial world, we often find the process of sorting goods which done by human power The sorting system will begin with the identification process. It uses sensors which is a webcam that will be processed in raspberry pi. After that the raspberry pi will then send signals to DC motor and servo motor to move the mechanical arm. This study used a 865mm x 700mm work desk. The webcam is placed towards the placement area of the test object, which is right in front of the mechanical arm in order to obtain a good image and not be disturbed by other objects.it placed 130mm above the workbench with a viewing angle of 60 °. From the calculation of known maximum force of mechanical arm is 500 grams.
