Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the growth and yield of pakcoy plants with various doses of NPK and vermicompost. The research was carried out outside the Sriwijaya Indralaya University Campus on Street Lintas Timur Km 32 (-3º12'17”S 104º38'52”E), Indralaya, Ogan Ilir, South Sumatra. It will be held in October - December 2020. The seeds used are Pakcoy Cap seeds with two chains. The method used in this study was Completely Randomized Block Design (RAKL) which consisted of 9 treatments with 3 replications in order to obtain 27 treatment units and in each treatment unit there were 6 plants. The treatments were P1 = 1 gram of NPK fertilizer (0.4 tons/ha)/plant , P2 = 2 grams of NPK fertilizer (0.8 tons kg/ha)/plant , P3 = 3 grams of NPK fertilizer (1.2 tons/ha)/plant, P4 = 0.5 kg of vermicompost fertilizer (200 tons/ha)/plant, P5 = 1 kg of vermicompost fertilizer (400 tons/ha)/plant, P6 = 1.5 kg of vermicompost fertilizer (600 tons /ha)/plant, P7 = 1 gram NPK + 0.5 kg vermicompost/plant, P8 = 1 gram NPK + 1 kg vermicompost/plant, P9 = 1 gram NPK + 1.5 kg vermicompost/plant. Parameters observed included plant height, number of leaves, leaf length, and fresh weight of production. The results showed that the application of 0.5 kg of vermicompost fertilizer and 1 gram of NPK plant in polybags had a significant effect on the number of leaves at the fifth week (17.76 pieces) and could increase the fresh weight of the plant (91.95 g). In addition, the use of a combination of NPK fertilizer and vermicompost P7 (1 gram NPK + 0.5 kg vermicompost), P8 (1 gram NPK + 1 kg vermicompost), and P9 (1 gram NPK + 1.5 kg vermicompost) gave an increase in the Net Assimilation Rate. (LAB). The combination of doses of NPK fertilizer and vermicompost increased the yield of LAB for Pakcoy, presumably due to the complete decomposition process.
