Abstract

The design of the social vertical houses with village atmosphere is not only a solution to reduced housing needs but also providing other facilities such as general facilities, social needs, and units to trade in order to support the economic activities of low-income people (MBR). It's been a pretty crowded area with housing buildings, but it's not neatly organized, and there's a lot of buildings that they're told they're not habitable. Also, public facilities such as healthcare centers and other supporting facilities are inadequate. The design concept offered to the council was to bring kelurahan into urban living, which is mostly low-income people derived from rural communities. Besides that taking the village climate into the compound, making it easier for people to familiarize themselves by maintaining a new lifestyle. Aside from the communities already in the region, the regulation is also time for newcomers. The architectural elements on the building will adopt the typology of the structure of the existence such as roof, windows, and wall color. And adding a second skin in the drying area where the aim is to minimize the image of slums and less organized in the composed home.
