Abstract

The misuse of NAPZA in Indonesia has been widespread in various circles. The number of victims of NAPZA abuse can be likened to an iceberg that looks less than the invisible. Especially South Sumatera, the number of abusers almost reached 100,000 people in 2019. That number has still not been balanced with adequate drug rehabilitation facilities. Thus, the Design of Drug Rehabilitation Center in South Sumatera the aims of this study are to accommodate the rehabilitation process against drug addiction, especially in South Sumatera. This drug rehabilitation center is designed with a healing environment approach that considers natural, sensory, and psychological elements with therapeutic community treatment methods. The concept of building is designed by answering the psychological and social needs of victims of drug abuse, but still considering the security aspects. These things are applied with a tread equipped with an artificial garden, one gate circulation system, and one mass building for therapy . Rigid structures are used that take into account the concept of structures and surrounding building materials as well as the state of the soil. The utility system is conceptualized considering openings for lighting and ventilation, plumbing systems are also equipped with fire protection, waste systems, and vertical transportation systems using ramps, stairs, and elevators.
