Abstract

This study aims to determine the location-specific dosage of N, K fertilization combined with vermicompost so that fertilization can increase the productivity of soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merill) in tidal swamplands. This research is a polybag research carried out in the experimental garden Agrotech Traning Center (ATC), Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya. This research was conducted in September 2019 to February 2020. The research method used in this study was a factorial randomized block design (RAKF) with two factors, the first factor was the dosage of N and K fertilizer which consists of two levels, namely the dosage of fertilizer recommended by the South Sumatra Agricultural Research and Development Agency (D1), Site specific fertilizer dosage (D2), The second factor was the addition of vermicompost which consisted of three levels, namely offering vermicompost at a dose of 5 tons ha-1 (V1), 7.5 tons ha-1 (V2), 10 tons ha-1 (V3). Each treatment was made 3 replications. Hence, the total number of treatments was 18 experimental pots. The variables observed were initial soil analysis (soil pH, N-total, P-available, K-dd and texture), soil analysis in the primordial phase (pH, N-total, and K-dd), the analysis of plants in the primordial phase of analysis. N and K, plant height, number of seeds per plant, number of pod contents, seed weight per plant and production. The results of this study indicate that the location-specific fertilizer dosage of D2 (Urea 595 kg ha-1 and KCl 99.28 kg ha-1) produced the highest growth and production of soybean in tidal fields. This is indicated by plant height and total pods. The dose of vermicompost that can produce the highest growth and production of soybeans is a dose of V1 5 tons ha-1. This is indicated by plant height, number of seeds per plant and weight of seeds per plant. The highest treatment combination is the combination of location specific fertilizer dosage treatment D2 (Urea 595 kg ha-1 and KCl 99.28 kg ha-1) and Vermicompost V2 7.5 tons ha-1 with a production of 1.47 tons ha-1
