Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that cause learning difficulties in class XI students at SMA Negeri 2 Sarolangun. This research is a quantitative description with survey method. Data were collected using a psychological scale Likert scale model. There are 40 samples that are used as subjects in this study. Data were analyzed using the percentage formula (%). The results of data analysis showed that the factors causing learning difficulties in class XI students at SMA Negeri 2 Sarolangun on physical factors were obtained (20%) in the very influential category, (67,5%) in the moderately influential category and (12,5%) in the less influential category. Psychological factors were obtained (22,5%) in the very influential category, (40%) in the moderately influential category and (37,5%) in the less influential category. The family factor was obtained (25%) in the very influential category, (45%) in the moderately influential category and (30%) in the less influential category. The school factor was obtained (27,5%) in the very influential category, (55%) in the moderately influential category. and (17,5%) less influential category. Community factors were obtained (32,5%) in the very influential category, (50%) in the moderately influential category and (17,5%) in the less influential category. So that it can be seen that the factors that cause learning difficulties in class XI students at SMA Negeri 2 Sarolangun are in the category of quite influential.
