Abstract

"The Development of Hinduism in Tugumulyo Village, Lempuing District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, 1972-2015" according to the study. The problem in this study is how Tugumulyo Village, Lempuing District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency developed from 1972 to 2015, as well as how the Hindu community in Tugumulyo Village, Lempuing District, Ogan Komering Ilir District developed from 1972 to 2015. The goal of the study is to learn more about the issues mentioned above. The research approach employed is the historical method, which includes heuristics, source critique, interpretation, and historiography, as well as interviews. While sociological, economic, and anthropological techniques are employed. This study looks at the history of Tugumulyo Village, as well as transmigration in Tugumulyo Village, which includes the social life of Tugumulyo Village, the economic life of Tugumulyo Village, and the Tugumulyo Village government system. The evolution of the Hindu community in Tugumulyo Village, including the process of conversion to Hinduism in Tugumulyo Village, the Hindu community's economic life in Tugumulyo Village, Hindu religious structures in Tugumulyo Village, the Hindu community's social stratification in Tugumulyo Village, and inter-religious relations in Tugumulyo Village. The findings revealed that Tugumulyo Village's growth was distinguished by the presence of a better economic life and a government system that made significant improvements to the village's growth. Hinduism has grown in popularity in Tugumulyo Village, as seen by a rise in Hindu religious adherents, the Hindu community's economic activities, and Hindu religious buildings.
