Abstract

Analysis of earthquake resistant structures generally uses a factorized load elastic structure analysis to obtain ultimate conditions. In fact, the collapse behavior during an earthquake is plastic (Dewobroto, 2006). To achieve this condition, the analytical method that can be used is the nonlinear static analysis or by another name the pushover analysis. Pushover analysis is a method of analyzing the collapse behavior of structural by providing a static load on each floor of the building structure. The amount of this load is continuously increased until it reaches a plastic condition or a certain displacement is reached. With this method, a performance point can be obtained, this point will show the condition of the structure when the planned earthquake is occur. In this research, the structure will be analyzed using response spectrum analysis and pushover analysis with the using finite element based software. The structure analyzed is a flat structure with a total of 4 floors with a height of 15.4 m located in the city of Bengkulu. Based on the analysis, it is found that the Y-axis structure is more ductile than the X-axis. The structure gives the best performance in the earthquake load of SNI 1726 2012 with performance point at displacement of x and y directions of 64.6 mm 62.2 mm, respectively. The overall performance of the structure at the immediate occupancy performance level.
