Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan nilai-nilai demokrasi dalam kegiatan rapat pimpinan organisasi Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa (BEM) FKIP Universitas Sriwijaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling dengan informan berjumlah 8 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara, observasi,dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang didapat, maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa organisasi Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa (BEM) FKIP Universitas Sriwijaya telah menerapkan nilai-nilai demokrasi dalam kegiatan rapat pimpinan dengan kategori cukup baik. Hal itu dapat dilihat dari tiga indikator nilai-nilai demokrasi yang telah diterapkan yaitu, nilai musyawarah/mufakat, saling menghargai pendapat, dan nilai keadilan.
