Abstract

This study was to determine the status of fattening Bali plasma blood minerals by feeding a combination of NPN with molasses (UMOS). This research was conducted at laboratory of animal husbandry experiments, Department of Animal Husbandry and Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University in November to May. Mineral status research was observed for 3 months without combination liquid feeding and 3 months with combination liquid feeding on 3 Bali bulls cattle weighing 164 ± kg. The obtained data was analyzed using a paired T- test research method. Parameters observed were the mineral status of Ca, P, Mg, and Zn. Based on these results it cold be concluded that the status of Bali Bulls Cattle by the treatment of the mixture of UMOS, had no effect on the minerals Ca, F, Zn, but affects the mineral Mg Keywords: Bali Cattle, Minerals, UMOS Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui status mineral plasma darah Sapi Bali penggemukan dengan pemberian pakan kombinasi NPN dengan molases (UMOS). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan November sampai Mei dilaboratorium kandang percobaan peternakan, Jurusan Teknologi dan Industri Peternakan,, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Sriwijaya. Penelitian status mineral dilakukan 3 bulan tanpa pemberian pakan cair kombinasi dan 3 bulan dengan pemberian pakan cair kombinasi pada 3 ekor. Sapi Balijantan dengan bobot 164 ± kg. Data yang diperoeh di analisi dengan menggunakan metode penelitian uji T berpasangan. Parameter yang diamati status mineral Ca, P, Mg, dan Zn. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa Status mineral Sapi Bali jantan yang digemukan dengan perlakuan campuran UMOS,tidak memberikan pengaruh pada mineral Ca, F, Zn, tetapi berpengaruh pada mineral Mg. Kata kunci : Sapi Bali, Mineral, UMOS
