Abstract

Land of Pagar Alam is a land that has a high level of soil fertility. The application of organic husk charcoal fertilizer in the cultivation of atlantic varieties of potato is done to improve soil fertility. This study aims to determine the effect of a combination of rice husk an NPK fertilizer on K-soil and potato (Solanum tuberosum L.). This research was conducted in November-January 2020 in Gunung Agung Pauh Village, Dempo Utara, Pagar Alam City. Factorial Randomized Design (RAKF) consisting of 2 treatment factors. The first factor is husk charcoal fertilizer with two treatments was B0 = 0 ton ha-1 (control), B1 = 3 tons ha-1 (44 g plant-1) and the second factor is NPK inorganic fertilizer with three treatments N0 = 0 ton ha-1 (control), N1 = 0,5 tons ha-1 (7 g plants-1), N2 = 1 tons ha-1 (14 g plants-1). The result showed that the application of 3 tons ha-1of rice husk charcoal fertilizer was able to increase the soil pH value of high growth of potato plants giving NPK fertilizer with a dose of 0,5 tons ha-1 (7 g plants-1) was able to increase the height growth of potato plants and the production of potato plants. NPK fertilizer application with a dose of 1 tons ha-1 (14 g plants-1) can increase the availability of K-soil and the growth and production of potato plants.
