Abstract

The Objective of this study is aimed at video development of introduction to cardinal and ordinal numbers from 1 until 10 for children aged 4 until 5 years which has been tested for the validity and practicality. The development model that used are Rowntree and formative evaluation Tessmer with four steps, which are self evaluation, expert review, one to one evaluation and small group evaluation. For the data analysis, this study used walkthrough, observation and checklist. The findings of the study showed that the material validity is 91% and media validity is 79%, it obtained an average product validity of 85% including very valid category. Step one to to one evaluation involved three children with the result 99% and for small group evaluation was involved nine children with 97% for the result, from the two evaluations, it obtained an average of 98% included in very practical category. In conclusion, the video development of introduction to cardinal and ordinal numbers 1 until 10 for children aged 4 until 5 years declared as a valid and practical, it suitable to be used to stimulate children to recognize sequences and numbers in the concept of counting in mathematics that can be used by children aged 4 to 5 years. The advantage of this study is that there are activities that are directly done by children and at the end there are interactive sentences. For the weaknesses, the length of the video is quite long. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Video Pengenalan Bilangan Kardinal Dan Ordinal 1 sampai dengan 10 untuk anak usia 4 sampai 5 tahun yang teruji validitas dan kepraktisannya. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah Rowntree dan evaluasi formatif Tessmer, dengan empat tahapan yaitu self evaluation, expert review, one to one evaluation dan small group evaluation. Teknik analisis data menggunakan walkthrough dan observasi serta daftar checklist. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa validitas materi sebesar 91% dan validitas media sebesar 79%, diperoleh rata-rata validitas produk sebesar 85% termasuk kategori sangat valid. Tahap one to one evaluation melibatkan tiga orang anak dengan hasil 99% dan tahap small group evaluation melibatkan sembilan orang anak dengan hasil 97%, dari keduanya diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 98% termasuk dalam kategori sangat praktis. Dengan demikian Pengembangan Video Pengenalan Bilangan Kardinal dan Ordinal 1 sampai dengan 10 untuk anak usia 4 sampai 5 tahun dinyatakan valid dan praktis serta layak digunakan untuk menstimulasi anak dalam mengenal urutan dan jumlah pada konsep berhitung dalam matematika yang dapat digunakan anak usia 4 sampai 5 tahun. Kelebihan dari pengembangan video ini ialah adanya kegiatan yang langsung dikerjakan anak dan pada bagian akhir terdapat kalimat interaktif. Kekuranganya durasi video yang cukup panjang.
