Abstract

Advances in computer, sensor, and actuator technology have increased understanding of this phenomenon and aided the development of strategies for dealing with instability problems. Frequency domain-based spectrum analysis with fast Fourier transform (FFT) method can be applied to identify the frequency of the acquired vibration signal efficiently. Acceleration-based vibration signals have been shown to provide in-depth information about the dynamics of a cutting process in CNC machining. In this study, the design of a radio telemetery-based vibration measuring instrument has been able to measure the three-axis acceleration vibration with a MEMS MPU6050 sensor wirelessly with a baud rate of 115,200. The tool has succeeded in measuring the acceleration vibrations of the three x, y, and z axes, with a full scale ranging from ±2g (1g = 9.81 m/s2). The tool can measure temperature in real-time operating conditions in the range of 25-40 oC. The GUI Telemetry Viewer version 07 application has succeeded in displaying real-time “raw data” streaming consisting of acceleration on the x, y, and z axes with data sampling frequencies ranging from 1,024 – 10,240 Hz with variations in the number of certain samples and data recording (data logging). ) in “csv” format and its conversion into MS.Excel spreadsheet format can be done for further data processing (signal processing).
