Abstract

The purposes of this research were to: 1) comparing the income of rubber farmers who sell on the auction dan non auction markets In Ujan Mas Lama Village Ujan Mas Subdistrict Muara Enim District, 2) analyze the determinants that influence the decision of rubber farmers to sell rubber in the auction and not auction markets In Ujan Mas Lama Village Ujan Mas Subdistrict Muara Enim District. The research was conducted In Ujan Mas Lama Village, Ujan Mas Subdistrict, Muara Enim District. Site selection is done purposively (purposive). Data collected from January to February 2021. The research method used in this research is survey method. The sampling method with 50 sample, consists of 35 farmers who sell bokar at the auction market and 15 farmers who sell bokar not at auction. From the results of this study, there is a difference in income for farmers who sell bokar to the auction market and not auction in the village of ujan mas lama, with the average income of farmers selling bokar to the auction market of Rp6.652.380/Ha/6 months while the average income of farmers who sell non auction bokar Rp4.593.593/Ha/6 months with the difference in the value of Rp2.058.787/Ha/6month. Factors that significantly influence farmers' decisions to sell bokar to the auction market and not at auction are factors of farm income, and land area, while non-significant factors are production costs, production, number of family dependents, length of education, and capital. With encouraging factors (significantly positive effect) nemaely income, land area, production costs, production, number of family dependents, and capital while inhibiting factors (significantly negative) namely length of education.
