Abstract

The exhibition is part of a rapidly expanding tourism industry. The Ministry of Tourism has set 16 cities that became the main market of MICE activities in Indonesia, one of which is the city of Palembang. South Sumatra, especially Palembang City, is currently a large potential market for business people as well as targeted marketing of industrial and trading products. In addition, business in the field of trade and services requires promotion to increase the sale value of products offered. Then Palembang City must have facilities in the form of Exhibition of Integrated Area (Sentra) which can accommodate exhibition activities with the concept of space flexibility so that all kinds of exhibitions can be accommodated in building design. However, to increase the selling point of the Design Center of South Sumatra Exhibition, there are also supporting functions such as conference rooms such as conferences, meetings, seminars, wedding venues, graduation venues, etc. Both functions are designed to be a flexible space for ongoing activities at the South Sumatra Exhibition Center.
