Abstract

PT Bukit Asam, Tbk is engaged in coal mining. Pit design technical planning plays an important role as operational security control, estimation of mineral reserves to be mined, reference for planning and mining operations, and as a reference for infrastructure planning. The purpose of this final project is to make a pit design during the first quarter at the monthly short-term mining stage in accordance with the stripping ratio limit and the company's production target and to find out the production of loading and unloading equipment and transportation equipment for coal in Pit 2 West Banko in the first quarter of 2021. Solving research problems combines theory with data in the field in the form of primary data and secondary data so that later a problem solving approach will be obtained. The results of this study are thedesign is pit miningdesigned withheight bench 8 m, bench width 30 m,slope bench single 45o, overall slope 45o,width RAMP 30 m with grade 8%, has coal reserves of 809,000 tons, opening area 23.25 Ha and Productivity Digging tools needed to achieve coal production of 269,666 tons/month for the target of 809,000 tons/quarter are with 3 fleets where 1 fleet has 1 excavator and 6 dumps trucks for production every month and the match factor is <1, meaning that there is a waiting time for thedigging tool Excavator Kobelco SK 480 against the Hino Dump Truck 500.
