Abstract

This study aims to determine the physical and physiological conditions of Ar Rahman Palembang football players. This research is a quantitative descriptive research with survey method. The population in this study was the extracurricular football players of Madrasah Aliyah Ar Rahman Palembang, amounting to 19 people. Data collection techniques in this study were survey methods with physical condition measurement tests, namely: flexibility tests, endurance tests, speed tests, agility tests, strength tests, and physiological measurement tests, namely: blood pressure tests, pulse tests, percentage tests. fat. The results obtained showed that the profile of the physical condition of the football player at Madrasah Aliyah Ar Rahman Palembang was categorized as poor based on speed 4.9 in the poor category, agility 18.7 in the poor category, leg muscle strength 99.3 in the poor category, flexibility 38.4 in the poor category. good category, endurance 30.2 in the very poor category, and physiological profile in the normal category based on blood pressure 117/76 in the optimal category, pulse rate 80.8 in the normal category, fat percentage 19.9 in the normal category. The findings in this study indicate that the physical condition profile is in the poor category and the physiological condition of the Madrasah Aliyah Ar Rahman soccer players is in the normal category. The implication of this research is that it can be used as a reference in evaluating and compiling the next training program for football players at Madrasah Aliyah Ar Rahman Palembang.
