Abstract

The purpose of thisresearch is to find out whether the relation between leg muscle strength and abdominal muscle strength to shooting accuracy. This research uses a quantitative correlative approach, which explains the relation between variables by analyzing numerical data (numbers) using statistical methods through hypothesis testing. The test instruments are leg and back dynamometer test, sit-up test and goal target test. The data was tested by using the normality test and correlation test. The data obtained were analyzed using the application SPSS 16. The results of this research there is a significance value between leg muscle strength and abdominal muscle strength to shooting accuracy of 0,000 with a significance value <0.05 so there is a relationship between leg muscle strength and abdominal muscle strength shooting accuracy with Pearson correlation value of leg muscle strength to shooting accuracy of 0.887 with the percentage of 88% and the value of abdominal muscle strength to shooting accuracy of 0.850 with the percentage of 85%, while the relation of leg muscle strength and abdominal muscles to shooting accuracy is 1 with the percentage of 100% and has perfect correlation category. If have good leg muscle strength and abdominal muscle strength, shooting accuracy will get better too.
