Abstract

This research aims to (1) describe the analysis of the needs of students and teachers of class X SMA Pusri Palembang to the development of learning media to understand the text of folklore based on edpuzzle, (2) describe the results of the development of learning media development listening to the text of folklore-based edpuzzle class X SMA Pusri Palembang, (3) describe the results of expert validation on the development of learning media listening to the text of edpuzzle-based story rakyt class X SMA Pusri Palembang. The methods of this research uses the ADDIE development model. Addie development model steps consist of Analyze (analysis stage), Design (planning stage), Development (development stage), Implementation (implementation stage) and Evaluation (evaluation stage). However, researchers only used three of the five steps, namely Analyze (analysis stage), Design (planning stage) and Development (development stage). The development of this learning media is designed based on the results of analysis of the needs of Pusri Palembang High School teachers and students of grade X IPA 3. The development of this listening learning media has been through validation tests by three experts including materials, language and media experts. Based on the validation results from the three experts, the following values are obtained. Media validation scored 52 out of a total of 65 with an average score of 4.00, material validation scored 37 out of a total of 45 with an average score of 4.11, and language validation scored 43 out of a total of 50 with an average score of 4.3. Based on the results of the assessment, overall the media received an average score of 4.13 with a conversion value of B categorized as "valid".
