Abstract

Fruit growers usually select fruit manually. The manual fruit sorting system will of course require more labor and more time. The sorting tool for avocados has been successfully designed and made using an ESP8266 microcontroller by utilizing the TCS3200 color sensor to detect the color of avocado objects. With the avocado fruit sorter system, it can later be controlled with an internet connection using the Android/Ios based Blynk application. Tests on avocados as a whole have 93% accuracy and 7% error, with 100% accuracy and 0% error on ripe avocados. Meanwhile, the accuracy is 86% and 14% for raw avocados.
