Abstract

Air pollution is an important problem in threatening human life. Many human activities cause air pollution. Therefore, it is necessary to monitor the level of air pollution to determine the air pollution index in the area in order to maintain pollutant levels below the threshold value. To determine the level of pollutant gas using the MQ-2 gas sensor which is sensitive to air quality. And the Arduino-based air pollution level measurement application is then used for index display using Blynk and software with serial communication which was previously processed by NodeMCU ESP 8266. Then it can be seen the amount of pollutant levels and anticipatory steps that can be taken to reduce unhealthy air. In this final project, the design and manufacture of an air pollution monitoring tool with the MQ-2 sensor is implemented in a microcontroller-based miniplant.
