Abstract

Ekstrak etanol daun sukun (Artocarpus altilis) telah terbukti mengandung senyawa flavonoid yang memberikan efek hepatoprotektor sehingga perlu dilakukan penelitian lanjutan menggunakan fraksi yang memiliki senyawa lebih sederhana. Penelitian ini menggunakan 30 ekor tikus yang dibagi menjadi 6 kelompok perlakuan yaitu kelompok normal yang hanya diberikan Na CMC 0,5 %, kelompok positif diberikan silimarin 100 mg/kgBB, kelompok negatif diberikan CCl4 1 mL/kgBB, dan kelompok uji I, II dan III diberikan fraksi etil asetat dengan dosis masing-masing 125, 250 dan 500 mg/kgBB. Pengujian dilakukan selama 7 hari dan pada hari ke-8 semua kelompok kecuali kelompok normal diinduksi dengan CCl4 1 mL/kgBB. Parameter yang digunakan berupa kadar SGPT, SGOT dan ALP serta pengamatan organ hati secara makroskopis dan histopatologi. Hasil uji ANOVA (p<0,05) menunjukkan bahwa fraksi etil asetat daun sukun dapat menekan kenaikan SGPT, SGOT dan ALP. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa fraksi etil asetat daun sukun kelompok uji III dosis 500 mg/kgBB memiliki aktivitas hepatoprotektor yang paling tinggi dibandingkan dengan uji I dosis 125 mg/kgBB dan uji II 250 mg/kgBB yang dibuktikan dengan kadar SGPT, SGOT dan ALP serta gambaran makroskopis dan histopatologi hati mendekati kondisi normal.
