Abstract

This study aimed to determined the flypaper effect of regional original income, general allocation funds on local government spending in districs/cities in South Sumatera. The samples used were the district/city number 14 during 2008-2019. The results showed that local revenue, general allocation funds significantly affected district/city government spending in South Sumatera. There Was a Flypaper Effect in districts/cities in South Sumatera. The implication of this research is to increase knowledge related the flypaper effect on Regional Original Income and General Allocation Funds on Regional Expenditures. For related parties, it is hoped that this research can be used as a contribution in formulating future policies related to planning, controlling and monitoring as an evaluation material for improvements in optimizing Regional Revenue.
