Abstract

Yamaha motorcycle manufacturer who created the Mio GT 115CC motorcycle with an automatic transmission which is relatively easy to use from manual and semi-automatic motorcycles. Some automatic motor users who are not satisfied with the torque and power possessed by their automatic motors, replace the rollers on the CVT. Therefore, I conducted this research which aims to determine for sure the effect of changing the roller on the torque and power of the Mio GT 115CC motor. I did this experiment by replacing the standard roller on the Mio GT 115CC motorcycle with three sample rollers weighing 9 grams, 10 grams and 12 grams. After that, look for torque and power using a dynotest tool. After doing these experiments, I got the result that the biggest torque increase of 12.45 Newton meters / 3587 revolutions per minute was produced by the 9 gram roller and the 12 gram roller produced the highest power with 7.3 horse power / 7213 revolutions per minute. So for users who want high acceleration use a roller with a light weight and for motorcycle users who want to use their motorbike on steep terrain use a heavier roller
