Abstract

Corn is one of the many food crops that are grown and needed in Indonesia. Corn has an important role in the national economy, in addition the role of corn for the community is as one of the sources of carbohydrates, feed sources, as well as being an industrial raw material. The increasing demand for corn cannot be met if maize crops have low productivity, low productivity of corn crops can be influenced by a variety of factors, such as narrowing agricultural land from year to year, the presence of pest attacks that have been resistant to insecticides, excessive use of pesticides and inorganic fertilizers that can cause a decrease in soil health to reduced productivity of corn, in addition to the attack of various crop diseases that attack corn is also one of the factors that can decrease the productivity of corn. Increased productivity can be accelerated by using Rhizobacteri, Rhizobacteri is a good bacteria that lives in root soil (Rhizosfer) Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) serves to increase plant growth, PGPR can regulate various concentrations of various growing regulatory substances, Pgpr can be applied at the time of seed immersion before the seed will be planted. Research with 6 treatments and 4 replays obtained using anova. The results of the research that has been carried out that the lowest level of pre emergence damping off attacks are found in the control treatment with the percentage of the affected seeds is 1.01% and the lowest post emergence damping off attack is in the control treatment with water and PGPR Rhizosfer Bambu Kuning 5 mL /L. Laboratory results of gram pgpr coloring test of yellow bamboo is gram positive. And for hypersensitivity test the yellow bamboo PGPR solution injected on tobacco leaves does not cause necrotics.
