Abstract

This research is entitled "The Effect of Communication Satisfaction on the Performance of Hajj Health Center Employees of the Indonesian Ministry of Health during the Covid-19 Pandemic". This study aims to see the level of communication satisfaction and the level of performance of the Hajj Health Center employees, as well as to determine whether there is an influence between communication satisfaction on performance and how big the effect is. The theory used in this study is the communication satisfaction theory developed by Downs & Hazen (Hardjana, 2019: 268) and the performance theory proposed by TR Mitchell (Ruliana, 2016: 158). The method used in this research is explanative quantitative method. Data collection techniques were carried out by distributing questionnaires to 67 respondents. The results of this study indicate that the level of achievement of the variables of communication satisfaction and employee performance of the Hajj Health Center is at a high level. In addition, there is a significant effect between communication satisfaction on the performance of the Hajj Health Center employees of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia during the Covid-19 pandemic with a value of tcount = 7,480 > ttable = 1,997. Based on the value of the coefficient of determination (R Square) obtained by 0.463, which means that communication satisfaction contributes to the performance of 46.3%. While the other 53.7% were influenced by other factors not examined in this study. Keyword: Communications Satisfaction, Job Performance, employee
