Abstract

The study aims to determine the level of efectiveness of the advertisement tax and how much the rate of growth of advertisement tax each year is on regional income. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method. The data used is advertisement tax data from 2015 to 2020. The data analysisi technique used is effectiveness analysis, and growth rate analysis. The result of this study indicate that the effectiveness os the advertisement tax is very effective. The contribution of local taxes to the PAD of Palembang city is very good. As for the growth rate, the average regional tax during 2015 to 2020 is include in the unsuccssful criteria, but aleays experiences an increase in total revenue realization from year to year.
