This concept explained how the practice of transnational crimes involving national borders and committing a country’s criminal law. These crimes usually have economic motives and some form of smuggling. The results of this study indicate that cases of human trafficking in South Sumatera occurred due to several factors. First factor is economic factors, people with low economic levels have limitations in finding sources of life and social power to control the surrounding environment. Second factor is education, a low level of education resulted in people’s lack of knowledge which causes women to be easily manipulated or deceived then exploited by traffickers by using various methods to ensnare victims. Last factor is the discrimination factor, the issue of gender inequality or gender discrimination can be used as a factor in the occurrence of human trafficking experienced by women, this injustice includes economic and educational factors. These three factors are related to each other. With a low economic level, of course this will affect someone in the field of education, families with low economies will find it difficult to finance someone's education. Human trafficking occurs because people need a job with a high pay. Due to the lack of knowledge, they are easier to manipulate or trust the person.
