Abstract

The development of a city can be influenced by the transportation system of the city area. Increasing traffic flow and the volume of the number of vehicles should be widened, so as not to cause long queues and congestion on some of the short roads. Therefore the factors of congestion we can see at high density and volume. As happened in the city of Palembang, South Sumatra Province with its capital Palembang has an area of approximately 400.61 square kilometers, divided into 18 roads and 107 city villages. Palembang is a metropolitan city, because it can be said that the current population density level is very high. Especially regarding Jl. HM Noerdin Pandji - Sako Baru and Jl, residents of H. Najamuddin, therefore during rush hour many activities from vehicles on the road around the intersection are very crowded and often cause congestion in the area. Simulation on The Noerdin Pandji junction using vissim software refers to the calibration process and the model of simulation of vehicle queue length on observation and simulation which has a queue length of 320.51 On the new Jl. Sako, Jl.Noerdin Pandji by 210.53 and Jl. Kenten 216.03, Calibration test using GEH formula on Jl. Sako Baru and Jl. Kenten using simulation volume data and observation volume data directly in lapanagan or observation on trial 1 value GEH > 5, so still not meet or rejected, then with trials 6 and 7 get a GEH value < 5 So that the calibration value with the GEH test dIterima or qualify.
