Abstract

Noise is unwanted sound from a business or activity at a certain level and time that can cause health problems and environmental comfort. According to the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, noise is all unwanted sounds originating from production equipment and or work equipment which at a certain level can cause hearing loss. Noise is any unwanted sound or sound that can interfere with health and safety. The noise level due to traffic on the Palembang Indralaya Toll Road generally passes the Noise Quality Standard issued by the State Ministry of the Environment in 1996) which is 55dB. This is shown from the results of measurements of noise levels on the Palembang Indralaya Toll road point 1 for passenger cars ranging from 50.1 to 67.1 trucks 2 axles ranging from 48.3 to 82.1 and buses 60.1 to 72 ,2 In ducks 2 passenger cars ranged from 51 to 71.1, 2 axle trucks ranged from 38.6 to 85.3 and buses 60.1 to 72.2 and point 3 passenger cars ranged from 40, 3 to 62.1, 2 axle trucks ranged from 46.7 to 85.3 and buses 59.1 to 75.
