Abstract

This study aimed to determine the strategy of the orphanage in enhancing the ability of social adaptation of children at Panti Asuhan Mawar Putih, Indralaya Mulya Village, Indralaya District. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The data collection techniques used in this study were documentation, interview, and observation. The validity test used in this study included the credibility test, transferability test, dependability test, and confirmability test. The data analysis techniques used were data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. Based on the data analysis that has been carried out, it could be concluded that in enhancing the ability of social adaptation of children at Panti Asuhan Mawar Putih, Indralaya Mulya Village, Indralaya District consists of recognizing the child’s temperament, education, and also the environment.
