Abstract

In distributing a voltage of 20 kV from the main substation to the substation which will then be lowered back through the distribution substation until it reaches the consumer, it usually having a voltage drop problem. There are several factors that cause voltage drop, start from a long distances, cable cross-sectional area, and the amount of current (load) flowing in the conductor. If this voltage drop is not handled it will cause losses for pln and consumers. Therefore, I want to do a research on voltage drop by calculating the voltage drop on the Lavender feeder at PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Rayon Muara Enim. The lavender feeder has a channel length of 10.1 km and using a 150 mm2 AAAC type conductor. The purpose of this research is to get the value of the voltage drop on the lavender feeder, does it meet the PLN standards that have been set. To get the results of the voltage drop, the researchers used 2 methods. first. using manual calculation and second, ETAP 12.6 simulation. The results of the voltage drop obtained are 99.1902 volts with a percentage of 0.461095% for manual calculations and 96 volts with a percentage of 0.48% for ETAP simulation results. So that the voltage drop on the lavender feeder still meets the PLN standards that have been set ±10%. (SPLN T6.001:2013). Keywords: Electricity Distribution System, Muara Enim Pln, Voltage drop
