Abstract

West Bangka Regency is the only district that has not been certified for malaria elimination in the Province of the Bangka Belitung Islands. E-SISMAL data for 2020 shows that there are still 8 cases and an increase in API in West Bangka Regency, without malaria vector control. It can hinder efforts to eliminate maria in the Province of the Bangka Belitung Islands in 2024. The aim of the study was to evaluate malaria vector control in E-SISMAL in West Bangka Regency. This study used a qualitative research design with an evaluation type, with observation variables covering context (vision, mission and objectives), inputs (budget, human resources, facilities and infrastructure), process (collection of supporting data, increased advocacy to the government and stakeholders and raising cross-program and cross-sectoral and product partnerships (coverage of malaria vectors in E-SISMAL). 11 informants who were determined purposively Data collection methods were in the form of focus group discussions, deepening, participatory observation and photovoice Data analysis using the Nvivo 12 Plus application for windows. The results did not show the E-SISMAL application, Influenced by the behavior of tin miners moving to approach the mine site (26 references) and limited funds in malaria vector control (20 references) and vector control analysis has not maximum (17 references). Then, the key that the program malaria vector control at E-SISMAL in West Bangka Regency was an input variable in the form of a supporting data collection process variable and a product in the form of vector control data analysis on E-SISMAL that has not been managed optimally. So, it will need support from all cross-sectors and across programs in stages to accelerate malaria elimination in West Bangka Regency and Bangka Belitung Island Province.
