Abstract

Pada penelitian ini dirancang hardwere dan softwere sebuah alat kincir angin yang dapat menghasilkan listrik serta mengukur kecepatan angin. Pengukuran kecepatan angin dilakukan dengan menggunakan sensor encoder. Sedangkan untuk pembangkit listrik menggunakan energi alternarif angin dibutuhkan penyimpanan energi berupa baterai. Mikrokontroler arduino nano yang digunakan sebagai pengatur keseluruhan sistem yang dijalankan. Sensor Encoder memilik kemampuan yang baik dengan memiliki nilai rata-rata akurasi, presisi dan error yang baik, nilai rata-rata akurasi 84,50%, presisi 95,18%, dan error 10,98% dengan batasan (mengukur dengan kecepatan angin minimal 1,5 m/s). Cara kerja alat tersebut yaitu anemometer yang dirancang dengan memiliki generatornya sendiri untuk menghidupkan dan menjalankan fungsinya sebagai anemometer (mengukur kecepatan angin dan menghasilkan listrik).
