Abstract

The analysis of lead metal (Pb) in leachate treatment pond at TPA Sukawinatan Palembang using potentiometric method with comparative electrode Ag/AgCl. The purpose of this study was to apply potentiometric methods to determine heavy metals contained in water and to determine lead metals in leachate water. Leachate samples were taken from 5 locations, namely leachate treatment ponds 1,2,3,4 and 5. The concentrations of lead metal in leachate treatment ponds were 1,2,3,4 and 5 respectively 37 mg/L, 5.8 mg/L, 0.66 mg/L, 0.33 mg/L, 0.14 mg/L. the value exceed the environmental quality standard according to the environment minister (0.1 mg/L).The analysis of lead in leachate treatment pond using potentiometric method obtained with precision 0.21%, the result indicates that this method has a good accuracy because its fulfill the requirement value % RSD <2%. And Accuracy of 97.23%. Measurement uncertainty of 3.79 ± 4.34 mg/L, 0.60 ± 1.15x10-5 mg/L, 0.06 ± 1.73x10-7 mg/L, 0.03 ± 3.38x10-8 mg/L 0.01 ± 6.39x10-9 mg/L.
