Abstract

This study aims to develop a guide product science experiment activities. This research was conducted with the subject of research of the children of Group B Islamic Kindergarten Al Ittifaqiah Indralaya research object in the form of guidebook of science experiment activities. Development Activities This experiment uses a combination of Rowntree's development model and Tessmer's evaluation. Development is done using the Rowntree model (Planning, development, and evaluation). The evaluation was done using Tessmer's formative evaluation method. Data collected through Walkthrough and Observation. The results showed that the validity of the material was 3.5 with very valid categories consisting of experimental activity content, suitability of tools and materials for early childhood, conformity with science learning and legibility of instruction used, and for validity and media were 3.87 categories very valid which has met book criteria consisting of book packaging, display design, font usage, and illustrations in the book. Thus the product has a validity of 3.68 with very valid category. The percentage of practicality in the one to one evaluation stage is 88.3% with very good category, while the percentage of practicality in small group evaluation stage is 91% with very good category. So for practicality level from one to one evaluation and small group evaluation very practical can be seen from children using guidebook of experiment activity which guided by teacher and carry out experimental activity contained in the book. Thus, the product in the form of guidebooks of experimental activities in science learning is very valid and practical so that it can be used in science learning in PAUD institutions.
