Abstract

This research aims to know the difference of financial performance and BI rate between Conventional Banks and Islamic Banks and also to know the injluence of Capital ratio (CAR), the asset quality ratio (NPL and NPF), the liquidity ratio (LDR and FDR), the efficiency ratio (BOPO), and BI rate to profitability ratio (ROA) on Conventional Banks and Islamic Banks. The population in this research consist of 120 Conventional Banks and 11 Islamic Banks in Indonesia. Samples consists of 3 Conventional Banks and 3 Islamic Banks in Indonesia which are taken by purposive sampling method. The analysis technique is multiple liniear regression. The result shows that there is a difference of financial performance and BI rate between Conventional Banks and Islamic Banks, variables of CAR, NPL, LDR, BOPO, and BI rate have a positive and significant influence to ROA with R Square (R?) is 96,9 % on Conventional Banks and variables of CAR, NPF, FDR, BOPO, and BI rate have a positive and significant influence to ROA with R Square (R2) is 90,9 % on Islamic Banks.
